3 Ingredient No Bake Peanut Butter Oat Squares

3 Ingredient No Bake Peanut Butter Oat Squares
1 cup peanut butter
½ cup honey
3 cups rolled oats

Chocolate Ganache (optional)
1 cup of heavy cream (Can substitute almond/soy milk)
2 cups chocolate chips
2 TB butter (Can substitute coconut oil)

Line a 9×9 pan with foil and spray with non-stick spray. Melt the peanut butter and honey together until smooth, either in the microwave or stove top. Combine mixture with oats. Press into prepared pan. Place in refrigerator until set. Cut into squares. If you want to top with ganache bring the heavy cream to a simmer. Pour over chocolate and let sit for 5 minutes. Add butter and stir together until smooth. If it is too thick heat it up in the microwave for 15 seconds or add more cream.

This recipe brings the peanut butter flavor together with something as nutritious as oats and honey to form a quick and easy energy and protein filled power snack. Form into small balls and pop them in whenever you are on the go. Add flax, chia, or your favorite seed/nut and enjoy for breakfast! Crumble it up and put it on top of ice cream. This recipe is clearly versatile! Kids like to make it and eat it because it’s easy and delicious! This recipe is naturally gluten free, vegan, and raw. Also you probably already have all three ingredients in your house somewhere so it’s cheap! I added a layer of chocolate ganache to the top of it in bar form to mimic the Scotcheroo dessert in a much healthier fashion.
